Tomorrowland CORE Returns to Medellín: February 20–21 at Parque Norte

For the third consecutive year, Tomorrowland's most intimate and artistic stage experience comes to Medellín. CORE 2026 is part of the first global tour of the concept — visiting Los Angeles and Melbourne later in the year — cementing Medellín's status as one of a select few world cities deemed worthy of the experience.

What Is CORE?

CORE is Tomorrowland's most curated, atmospheric stage concept — designed for music lovers who want the legendary Belgian festival's production values with a more intimate crowd. Where the main Tomorrowland festival draws hundreds of thousands, CORE is purpose-built for an experience closer to underground club culture: exceptional sound design, avant-garde stage architecture that responds to the natural environment, and musical programming that favors artistic depth over pure commercial appeal.

Why Medellín, Three Years Running?

The repeat visits signal something important: Medellín's audience has demonstrated that it can sustain a sophisticated, non-mainstream music event at scale. Organizers have explicitly stated that the goal is to deliver a "multisensory experience where stage design, lighting, and musical curation blend harmoniously with the natural environment" — and Parque Norte's green setting, surrounded by the Aburrá Valley hills, provides a backdrop unmatched by urban venues.

The decision to make Medellín the first stop on the global CORE World Tour — ahead of Los Angeles and Melbourne — is a statement about the city's position in the international music landscape.

Getting to Parque Norte

Parque Norte is accessible via the Metro (Acevedo station, Line A) and is located in the northern part of the city. The park itself is well-lit and professionally managed during events. Plan for traffic congestion on Avenida Regional if arriving by car — Metro and pre-booked rideshare are strongly recommended.
